About Us

Yielding Hands was established in 2017, equipped to help join a mission to bridge the gaps in education, raise awareness on the impact of poor mental health, and social/emotional development for youth.  Yielding Hands strives with fidelity to provide effective education, mental, physical, social, and emotional support services to our youth/young adults in the community. We provide a wide range of services, such as; tutoring (math & literacy), Life Coaching (for kids, teens, & young adults), annual Youth Summer Workshops, as well as, a countless number of community events, food/clothes/toy drives, donations, and sponsorship opportunities for families and other small businesses. Currently, Yielding Hands serves youth who are consistently utilizing our Tutoring service, Youth Learning Pod, Life-Coaching, and annual Youth Summer Workshops. We take pride in the satisfaction and appreciation that over 175 families throughout Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia can attest to the significant services we provide.
